What is a flower shop?
A flower shop is where you buy flowers and sell them for a fee.
You buy them from the flower shop’s stock and then sell them to someone else.
If you’re selling to someone, you must pay a fee to the flower store and a fee if you’re not selling.
Flower shops can be found in almost every city in Australia and many of them are just walking distance from each other.
Here are some of the things to look out for when you’re in the market for flowers.
Flower sellers may have other business you can buy or sell from, like flowers and flowers products.
If they do, you’ll need to tell them about it before you sell.
If a flower seller is selling flower, you may have to pay a delivery fee or if the flowers you’re buying are not of a suitable quality, you can pay the delivery fee yourself.
If the flowers are of a lower quality, a delivery charge is payable.
If it’s too expensive, you might have to settle for a cheaper option.
You must give them at least a fortnight’s notice of your intention to sell flowers and they must give you at least six months’ notice of their intention to buy them.
You can find out more about the requirements for flowers at the Australian Government’s website.
